I know what it feels like when the radiologist leaves the room and doesn't come back quickly enough. I know the specific kind of alone that a cancer diagnosis brings. And I know because I've lived it, that you can come through this with more clarity, more strength, and more trust in your body than you had before.
Ten years ago I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Today I'm a 10-year thriver, and I've spent those years building the support system I desperately needed and couldn't find.
That's Breast Wise.

“Ten years ago I was exactly where you are. What changed wasn't the fear disappearing, it was learning how to live well alongside it”
Katherine Froggatt – breast cancer thriver, cancer recovery coach, and founder of Breast Wise.
It started at a family lunch. A sharp pain. A doctor's appointment I didn't think twice about. Then scans, a biopsy, and a surgeon telling me my life would never be the same.
I had two small children. I had a high-achieving life I had built on the belief that if I just did everything perfectly, I would be safe. Cancer didn't care about any of that.
"Remission isn't a tick box. It's an ongoing relationship with your body - and it can be a deeply empowering one."
What followed - surgery, chemotherapy, radiation - was the hardest thing I've ever done. But the hardest part wasn't the treatment. It was what came after. The silence. The expectation to be grateful and get on with it. The feeling of not recognising myself in the mirror. The fear that whispered in the quiet moments, years later.
What eventually changed things was learning to regulate my nervous system, understand my metabolic health, and process the emotional weight that cancer leaves behind. Not through willpower or positive thinking - through evidence-based tools, honest community, and choosing to invest in my own resilience every single day.
I trained in mental fitness, metabolic nutrition, cancer coaching, and Evidence-Based EFT so I could offer other women what I needed and couldn't find. Breast Wise is the result of that decade of healing, training, and deep conviction that you should not have to navigate this alone.
My work is grounded in science and shaped by a decade of personal recovery. The two are inseparable - and together they create something neither alone can offer.
Training in mental fitness and cancer-specific coaching Cancer Wellness Institute, focusing on the psychological and behavioural aspects of living with and beyond cancer. This supports you to build practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, habits, and stress in everyday life.

ACT PSYCHOLOGY
Breast Wise is not about quick fixes, toxic positivity, or pretending everything is fine. These aren't words on a wall. They are the principles that shaped my own recovery and the ones I bring into every conversation, every session, every piece of content I share. These values shape how I show up, how we work together, and the kind of space I aim to hold for you.
You are not a passive recipient of your recovery. You are the most important person in the room. My role is to give you the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead your own healing.
Safety doesn't come from tightening everything. It comes from learning to steady your nervous system, interpret your body's signals, and respond from a place of calm rather than fear.
Connection is part of the medicine. Sharing our stories, being truly seen, and knowing we are not alone - these are not nice-to-haves. They are essential to healing.
Your story, your culture, your beliefs, and your preferences matter. I respect your autonomy and your medical team, and I work alongside - not instead of - your primary care and oncology providers.
Healing happens in relationship. Whether we work one-to-one or you’re part of a group space, I aim to cultivate warmth, safety, and genuine human connection so you feel less alone in what you’re going through.
Resilience is not bouncing back to who you were before. It’s slowly developing capacity to meet life as it is now, with more tools, more self-compassion, and more support along the way.
Breast Wise is for women who have completed primary treatment for breast cancer and are now navigating the "after" phase - the fatigue, the fear, the questions about what life looks like from here. You might feel guilty for still struggling, or unsure where to turn now that the medical appointments have eased.
You don’t have to have clear goals, the right words, or a perfectly tidy story before reaching out. Our first step together can simply be a conversation about where you are now and what you’re longing for next.
I offer a free 30-minute clarity call so we can explore whether working together feels like a good fit for you. There’s no pressure to commit - just space to ask questions, share a little about your story, and get a sense of what support could look like.
No medical jargon
I translate complex ideas into plain language, and I’m always happy to pause and explain. This is your body and your life - you deserve to understand what we’re talking about.
Grounded in evidence
While no approach can guarantee outcomes, the tools I use are informed by current research in psychology, behaviour change, mind-body medicine, and cancer survivorship.
Your pace, always
There is no expectation to share more than you want to or to make big changes quickly. We move at a pace that feels safe enough for your nervous system and your real life.
Lived experience
I don’t just know cancer recovery from textbooks. I know it from sitting in infusion chairs, waiting for scan results, and piecing life back together afterwards. That experience shapes everything I offer here.
